Glow Bowling
Is not fun. Bowling is generally a very boring and repetitive activity but glow bowling, glow bowling is a whole nother ball game. Or at least, it is supposed to be. The last time I went glow bowling, prior to this time, was a while ago, but as I remembered it, there was glowing involved. Usually there is some music in the background, rave or techno to go with the setting, and snacks. This makes for a great opportunity to hang out with friends. Glow bowling where I went is entirely different. For one thing, it is not very dark. I am not sure they dimmed the lights at all. Second, there is no glowing, unless you count disco balls as glowing. Third, they do play music, but it is mostly metal played as loud as possible so as to drown out any attempt at communication between you and your friends. Oh yes, and here, snacks = alcohol.
We ended up leaving an hour early and just driving around for a while and getting lost, which was exponentally more fun.
